WA: Medical staff disciplined after baby given overdose
Three medical staff have been disciplined after an eight-month-old boy was given anaccidental drug overdose at a Perth hospital.
It was the second time such an incident had occurred at Joondalup Health Campus in 18 months.
Hospital spokesman ROB TASSIE says the baby hadn't suffered any long-term effects afterbeing given 10 times his prescribed dose of an anti-viral agent on December 1.
