TROY - They smiled, cheered, exulted and likely expended more energy watching than doing Saturday afternoon.

The starters for the Loudonville Christian boys' basketball team truly enjoyed themselves and undoubtedly took more pleasure in what the reserves did against Sharon Springs.

The Eagles' subs had ample opportunities to shine as top-seeded Loudonville Christian seized command immediately and cruised to a 78-35 victory over the Spartans at Hudson Valley Community College.

Loudonville Christian (17-3) plays in the semifinals against North Warren (11-10) at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Glens Falls Civic Center. …
