NSW: Newlywed Crowe's buy $14m Finger Wharf residence
SYDNEY, April 10 AAP - Newlywed couple Russell Crowe and Danielle Spencer have reportedlyspent a record $14 million on a waterfront penthouse residence in Sydney's exclusive WoolloomoolooFinger Wharf.
The Sydney Morning Herald said the record deal shatters Sydney's priciest apartmentresale, secured last year when the Horizon Apartment's penthouse in Darlinghurst fetched$10 million.
The new Crowe residence was reportedly sold by Nutrimetics founder Imelda Roche andher property developer husband Bill Roche after spending $9.8 million in their third-floor,off the plan consolidation in 1998.
The Crowes join radio broadcaster John Laws, businessman Rod Price and expatriate entrepreneurIan Gowrie-Smith in the high-security complex.
Crowe also reportedly listed his Elizabeth Bay harbourfront property, Berthong, recently,as it wasn't suited to his jetset lifestyle.
